GCCF
have
asked
all
BAC's
to
submit
-
by
the
end
of
January
2011-
a
Breeding
Policy.
This
is
in
response
to
the
huge
media
attention
paid
to
dog
breeding
practices,
and
is
an
attempt
to
show
a
responsible
approach
to
health
concerns
by
cat
breeders.
This
Policy
was
constructed
initially
by
Dr
Holmes
and
Sue
Deane,
from
a
format
suggested
by
Council
and
has
been
discussed
at
the
MCBAC,
made
up
of
representatives
from
both
our
club
and
the
Maine
Coon
Cat
Club,
where
several
small
adjustments
to
wording
were
agreed.
GCCF
have
said
that
should
BAC's
wish
to
alter
their
breeding
policy
at
any
time
in
the
future,
they
are
at
liberty
to
do
so.
We
hope
that
you
will
take
the
time
to
read
what
is,
we
feel,
an
impressive
document.
There
will
be
opportunity
to
discuss
the
policy
further
at
the
forthcoming
AGM
on
August
15th.
